Hello everyone!
Welp, looks like I missed a week (Whoops!) but I’m gradually getting my act in order and here we are again!
To the Orb!
Where We’ve Been
last week’s last week1 I posted an article about the world I am building to house the Rhyzadros, which was very fun to write. This in itself got me contemplating the way in which I map the world out, and I am currently working on a whole load of code which can translate my idea into more code which can translate that idea into a beautiful document which I hope will help me, and countless millions2 of others, map their worlds really easily!
Where We’re Going
This week I’d like to start posting some excerpts from one of my books which I wrote for my campaign, called Hunts of the World. This book was created for the Barbarian player, who was insistent that he wanted to find a winged cow to use as a mount. We rolled on it, and the dice decreed that such a thing is possible, and so I had to make one for the world!
In all these books, I use public domain artwork to make it look as good as I can. I really enjoy making them! For this one, I even wrote a blurb & a rear cover:
It is important to note that this book exists in the world of Arenstar, and is not a supplement for the players so much as a prop to help engage with the characters. It does, however, have some good information in it!
This week, I will post about the Au-Roc, which is the flying cow for which the book was written!
If you enjoy reading my articles, and want to see more, then hit subscribe!
If you’ve got ideas for monsters or articles, then let me know in the comments!
And if you’ve something for me to review for Third-Party Thursdays, then definitely message me!
And if you like what you’re reading and want to help me afford professional artists to illustrate my work for publication (and fight against the terror of AI Artwork), consider buying me a Ko-Fi!
Finally, if you love TTRPG content, then head over to DrivethruRPG - it’s packed with thrid party D&D content, unique TTRPGs, Pathfinder supplements - pretty much anything you could want for TTRPGs!
Until next time, happy Slaying!
being the week before last week, which last week was last week
I mean, shoot for the moon, eh?
